The Grade Center in Blackboard is a place for instructors to track student performance. ... Instructors can select which grades are displayed to students on their My Grades page, supply feedback to the students, create weighted columns and exclude certain assessments from final score calculations.
In Grade Center, locate the cell containing the student’s graded test to override.
You can exempt a grade from a student’s record. When you exempt a grade, the grade is ignored in all Grade Center calculations. The grade cell displays a blue square.
To access the Full Grade Center, first click on Grade Center in the Control Panel and then select Full Grade Center (shown below).
Locate the column that you wish to hide, and click on the chevron in the column header.
You will then see a dialog box similar to the one image above that says "Delete this column and all of its associations? This action is final and cannot be undone." Click OK to delete the column.
In the Grade Center, all cells and column headers have a menu. For example, a test column's menu includes options for Column Statistics and Grade Questions. For a non-grade column, such as First Name, you only have the options to hide the column and sort the cells.
In the lower-right corner of the Grade Center, select Icon Legend to view the icon descriptions. Icons can appear in the Grade Center cells, attempt menus, column headers, on the Grade Details page, and on the Needs Grading page.
