On the Admin panel, select Course Settings in the Courses menu. Select Default Course Properties. In the Default Course View Option area, you have three choices: Original Course View Ultra Course View Instructor Choice The course view setting applies to newly created courses. Existing courses won't be affected by what you choose here.

Begin the preview After your institution enables the Ultra experience, you can start the Ultra preview at any time from your Original Course View. Select the Experience the new Learn icon in the top-right corner of the page. In the pop-up window, start the conversion to the Ultra Course View.

The Ultra Course View is cleaner with a more modern design and easy-to-use workflows. It also has powerful new tools that are not available in the Original Course View, like Discussion Analytics. There are some features of the Original Course View that are not available in the Ultra Course View, however.
Log into Blackboard Learn and enter the course. In the Course Management menu under Customization, click Properties. Under Set Availability, check the radio button next to "Yes" for Make Course Available. Click the Submit button.
