The migration from Blackboard to Canvas is complete and courses have been migrated fall 2021 classes!
We offer a variety of training opportunities and resources to learn about Canvas.
The transfer process provides a great opportunity to think about small changes you can make to your courses so they’re more accessible and navigable for students. For example, when sharing content in a course, you should organize it using modules so students can easily follow the flow of the course and know when activities are due.
After September 1st, Blackboard will become an “archive” environment with restricted access. No classes will be taught in Blackboard for fall 2021 or beyond.
Please contact Learning Technology Solutions for more information about Canvas at [email protected].
Information about the migration process and support for instructors will be available soon. Most courses will teach in Canvas in Fall of 2021. Instructors may request sandbox access and training at any time. Some cohort-based programs will be able to teach using Canvas in Spring 2021 as a “soft launch.”
For more information or questions about Boise State’s Canvas implementation please contact Learning Technology Solutions at [email protected].
