The Ultra Course View is cleaner with a more modern design and easy-to-use workflows. It also has powerful new tools that are not available in the Original Course View, like Discussion Analytics. There are some features of the Original Course View that are not available in the Ultra Course View, however.

The Ultra experience is the term for the new user interface that is more personalized, proactive, and intuitive for learners and educators. Absolutely! Over time , we’ll keep “ultra-fying” Original Course View features, but instructors can use the Original Course View for a long time. There are no plans to phase out the Original Course View.
No, but we’re going to provide some of what Ultra provides to self hosted and managed hosted customers. The new theme for Original Courses is one example of this. This will provide a new look and feel for both the system and courses (see question six above) as well as make them more mobile-friendly.
Event details include the name, date, and time of a session. Decide if the session is open ended or recurring. Make the name something meaningful for your attendees so they know what the session is for.

If you want to run multiple sessions at the same time for students to use as virtual study room, for example, you can create multiple sessions for the different groups to join.
