Top Hat Test combats the problem. It allows professors in traditional classroom environments to create digital tests that students can take on their own devices. These tests monitor student behavior, locking them out if they stray from the test, thus reducing the risk of cheating.Sep 19, 2017

Top Hat questions do not have the geolocation feature so technically you cannot prevent students from responding to questions remotely. However, you can make it very difficult for students to respond correctly from a remote location.

A letter grade is required to transfer grades. If you have the column set to show a number (i.e. score or percentage) the grades will not transfer. Tip: Name the column you want to transfer so that it is easy to identify in the full list of Grade Center columns in a future step (e.g. Final Grade, Early Progress Grade, UAConnect Grade).
Important: Please check to make sure that you are viewing the correct term on UAConnect. If the term is not correct, click on the green change term button at the top of the page.
Grades Journey enables institutions to automate the exchange of assignment and grade data between their Student Information Systems (SIS) and Blackboard Learn. With Grades Journey, the SIS can optionally define columns in the Grade Center, graders can post the gradebook for retrieval, and the SIS can retrieve submitted grades. Administrators can configure Grades Journey to control how graders and instructors use Grades Journey.
If an instructor or teaching assistant notices an error after they've extracted the grade information, they may request that you unlock the Grade Center for that course. In these cases, you can unlock the Grade Center for a user after an extract occurs.
In order to import grades from Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheet to Blackboard, you'll need to first download a file as described above so that you can get the correctly-named column headers and rows. Then you can edit that file (enter grades) then import your changes into Blackboard.
If that doesn't automatically open Excel, try opening Excel first, then do File... Open... and find the file. Excel may give you a warning that it's not in the expected format. Just click " Yes " or " Okay .".
For Excel: If you plan to open the file in Excel, follow these instructions. After you click the button, save the file as-is with the default options. Next, find the file on your computer and double-click to open it in Excel. If that doesn't automatically open Excel, try opening Excel first, then do File... Open... and find the file.
