Select a course from the Course List. From the left-hand navigation, select Content under your course title. The Content page allows you to build content, create assessments or different tools to a module. To add a Turnitin assignment, select the Assessments drop-down menu, then select Turnitin Assignment.
To submit a paper to a Turnitin assignment in Blackboard, the user must log in and upload a file to an existing assignment. Turnitin assignments cannot accept student submissions until the assignment start date and time has passed.
If the assignment has been created to generate reports on the assignment due date, you will not be able to view your Similarity Report until that date has passed. Instructors may also restrict students from ever viewing their Similarity Report.Jan 2, 2020

Once a paper has been submitted to Turnitin, it is in the database forever. Reality: Turnitin offers students the ability to "opt out" of the database and provides institutions with the option of having an institutional database of student papers. To generate a new similarity report, click the red filter icon from the similarity toolbar. If the similarity layer was inactive, it will now be activated, highlighting all on-paper matches. From the Filters and Settings side panel, click the New Report button to generate a new report.
If the paper is a first submission, it can take up to ten minutes to generate. If the paper is a resubmission overwriting a previous submission, the Originality Report will take 24 hours to generate.
To create a Turnitin assignment in Ultra, go into your module and click on the purple plus sign that appears when you hover between your content items. Select Content and Tools from the dropdown menu. Select Turnitin: Create assignment in Ultra from the list of options.
