As an instructor, you can see when your students opened, started, and submitted tests and assignments with the Student Activity report. In general, this feature looks and functions the same whether you're working in an Original or Ultra course.
Select Join session from the Details & Actions menu on the Course Content page. If there is more than one session, you can select the one you want to join from the menu. Select the arrow to expand the list of available sessions.
Go to Collaborate, open the Menu, and select Recordings or View all recordings.
To enable attendance taking, you will access the Attendance tab when creating or editing a session. Select the box that says Share attendance information with LMS. Once selected, you'll be able to set your preferences on time, including when students are considered late or absent.Apr 20, 2021
Open the link in your browser. Blackboard Collaborate is at the top of the screen. It mentions what session you are joining and there is a place for you to type your name. Select Join Session after typing your name.
You can easily record a Session Blackboard Collaborate Ultra so that participants can review the Session at a later time or it can be viewed by someone who was unable to attend the Session. Note: Only the main room will be recorded.Sep 13, 2020

Go to Recordings and click on the Recording Options (ellipses sign) adjacent to the recording you wish to download. 6. Click Download. After the download (MP4) has completed, look in your Downloads folder on your computer for the downloaded session.
In a course, select the Gradebook icon on the navigation bar to access your Course Grades page and view your overall attendance grade. Select Attendance to open up the panel to view details of each course meeting. You can view a summary and easily see how many class meetings you've missed.
As you mark students' attendance, their attendance grades are posted automatically. If you change students' attendance or clear marks, students see the changes immediately.
Attendance ReportLog into the Scheduler as a manager, select Reports and Institution reports.Select Attendance report.Choose the Date range for the report. The date range can't be longer than 6 months and uses the UTC/GMT (00:00) time zone.Select Generate Report.After the report is created, select Download Report.
