Video Everywhere is an enhanced feature that allows students and instructors to record and embed videos everywhere from the content editor. The videos can be included inside discussion boards, blogs, journals, wikis, grade center for instructor feedback, etc.
To determine the version of Blackboard you are currently running, click on Installation details at the bottom of your login screen. Looking at the numbers in parenthesis, note that the first set of numbers are 9.1. This indicates that you are running Blackboard 9.1.
The What's New module reports changes once a day. Users see updates the first time they log in for the day. Any changes made after the user logs in is not shown in the What's New module until the next day unless the user accesses the Actions list and selects Refresh.
The Ultra Course View is cleaner with a more modern design and easy-to-use workflows. It also has powerful new tools that are not available in the Original Course View, like Discussion Analytics. There are some features of the Original Course View that are not available in the Ultra Course View, however.
Do I have Ultra? You have the Ultra experience if your name appears in the left panel of your window after you log in. You can navigate to core features outside of your courses from the list. When you select any link from the list, you see a global view across all your courses.

Kaltura Capture is a Mac and PC application that allow users to record their screen, along with webcam and audio. Great for recording PowerPoint presentations. Kaltura Webcam recording, which allowed users to record their webcam in the browser, is no longer available. The tool was Flash dependent which is no longer supported. Users can also use the Kaltura CaptureSpace application to record their webcam. Users could also record webcam using another program on their computer or record on their smartphone, and upload to Kaltura.
Respondus Monitor, the tool that uses a student's webcam to prevent cheating during non-proctored Blackboard exams, has greatly improved its algorithms in order to rank and prioritize the recordings which instructors may need to review.
Moderators can now share any type of camera (webcam, document camera) to the main presentation area. This allows the instructor/moderator video to stay as the main focus of the session. A second camera connected to the moderator's computer can also be shared via the normal camera icon at the bottom.
