In the gradebook list view, press the Move icon in the row of the item you want to move. Drag the item to the new location and release. The order you choose also appears in the grid view and on students' Grades pages. You can't move items in the grid view at this time.

Whenever you create a gradable item in your Blackboard course, such as an assignment or a test, a related Grade Column is automatically created in the Grade Center and linked to this item. It is also possible to manually create Grade Columns using the Create Column feature in the Grade Center.
The Grade Center does not provide an option to delete multiple Grade Columns. Instead, columns must be deleted one at a time. The “Batch Delete Grade Columns‟ tool enables you to quickly select and delete multiple Grade Columns.
To access the Full Grade Center, first click on Grade Center in the Control Panel and then select Full Grade Center (shown below).
Locate the column that you wish to hide, and click on the chevron in the column header.
You will then see a dialog box similar to the one image above that says "Delete this column and all of its associations? This action is final and cannot be undone." Click OK to delete the column.
From the Full Grade Center, hover over the Manage button and then click Column Organization.
Occasionally the drag and drop function doesn't "stick." If that is the case, manually move the columns as shown below:
The only way to delete auto-created grade columns is to first delete the gradable items in your course. For some, if no student submissions exist when you delete the item, the Grade Center column is deleted automatically or you are allowed to decide whether to delete the column.
Click on Grade Center under Course Management in the lower left of your course.
A new feature in Blackboard allows faculty to delete multiple columns from the grade center at the same time. This function is best used before grade data is entered and provided the grade center columns are not associated with an assessment activity.
