Blackboard is the platform Ivy Tech uses to give you access to class syllabi, assignments, and grades. There is also an email-like function in it for student/instructor communication. You do not have to login to Campus Connect to use Blackboard.
In addition to the global Canvas Community, Ivy Tech has a private Canvas Community that we also encourage you to join. The private community will house cheat sheets, answers to frequently asked questions and much more!
IvyLearnIvyLearn is the Learning Management System used by Ivy Tech to host specific course content, such as the syllabus, course grades, course assignments, instructor contact information, and due dates. All courses use IvyLearn to some degree.
IvyLearn is the student portal to access your course information, syllabus, online coursework. Note that the new portal for the College, MyIvy, has replaced Campus Connect and IvyLearn has replaced Blackboard.Nov 5, 2018
IvyLearn at Ivy Tech Over the next few months you can return to this page get the most up to date information about the transition from Blackboard to Canvas - which we will be calling IvyLearn. IvyLearn will be used for all classes in the Summer 2017 semester and beyond.
From the end of the second week to the end of the week marking the completion of 75% of the course, a student may withdraw from a course online using MyIvy or by filing a change of enrollment form at the Registrar's Office.
To log into your email, you need to go to https://owa.ivytech.edu or to the email button in https://cc.ivytech.edu . You sign in using your personal email user name (user ID) and password.
Student ID's are a quick reference to your Student ID (C number), located on the back of your ID below the barcode. Students are required to have student ID's in the Learning Resource Centers (LRC), the campus bookstore and when seeking enrollment services provided in the Express Enrollment Center.
