Blackboard is the platform Ivy Tech uses to give you access to class syllabi, assignments, and grades. There is also an email-like function in it for student/instructor communication. You do not have to login to Campus Connect to use Blackboard.
In addition to the global Canvas Community, Ivy Tech has a private Canvas Community that we also encourage you to join. The private community will house cheat sheets, answers to frequently asked questions and much more!

If the student fails the course again, he/she cannot be certified for a third time for the course. If this occurs, the repeated course will not be included in the student's total number of credit hours enrolled that is reported to the VA for that semester.

F” grade* Page 1 of 4 Page 2 2. The “F” grade denotes an actual failure to reach course objectives even though the student maintained attendance in the class through the final required academic event.
Meaning, the second grade would simply replace the first grade. So at that school, failing the same class a second time would leave you with the exact same GPA as if you had only taken and failed it once. (It was also that school's policy that the transcript would still show that the course had been repeated.)
Most colleges allow you to retake a class 3 times during a course, but any more after this, there might be consequences. You will most likely have to appeal to be able to retake the course a fourth time.Apr 30, 2021
