It is possible to track how students are using your Blackboard course. Individual items can be tracked when this option has been enabled, and course wide statistics are also available. A number of other features provide insights into student performance on your Blackboard course.
Accessing Statistics Reports Log into your Blackboard course, locate the item you wish to run a report on and hover over the name of the item. Click the button that appears next to the item and choose View Statistics Report from the menu.Dec 6, 2018
On the Administrator Panel, under Tool and Utilities, select System Reporting. Select Statistics Reports. Select the report to run by selecting Run in the report's menu.

Yes. When taking a proctored exam, the Blackboard can record you using both the webcam and the microphone of your computer. It achieves this through the Respondus Monitor proctoring software that is capable of accessing your webcam and the microphone. If you would like to be able to run a report of which students have viewed or clicked on an object [item, link, test, assignment, etc.] in Blackboard, you can manually enable statistics tracking for that object and then run a Statistics Report to view activity for a range of time and some/all students.
Review Status is a lot like Statistics Tracking, but requires that students manually acknowledge that they have “reviewed” the object [item, link, test, assignment, etc.]. You can then run a Review Status report to view activity for a range of time and some/all students.
Students must manually click the “Mark Reviewed” button for their activity to be tracked in a Review Status report.
You will need to hold 'Ctrl' to select and highlight more than one user. Alternatively use the Shift key to hightlight a block of users. This can be used to highlight all users. Click Submit and a Pdf report will show the statisitics – the number of clicks on the content.
Within a Blackboard Course, it is possible to track the number of clicks on particular items. You may wish to track which is the most popular learning resource on your Blackboard course, or simply check that students are viewing content you have put up, to clarify that they have access to it.

For large institutions with lots of user activity, this will generate significant amounts of data. Excel can only handle files up to 2GB or sometimes more depending on the version. In these circumstances, the report should be run with shorter date range parameters.
Once a content item has been created in a Content Area, Learning Module, Lesson Plan, or folder, you can enable statistics tracking for that item by ( 1) selecting the Action Link next to the content item and ( 2) selecting Statistics Tracking ( On/Off). ( 3) On the Statistics Tracking, select the radio button next to On and then select Submit.
When Statistics Tracking is enabled, the View Statistics Report link is active on the contextual menu.
On the Course Reports page, select the Action link next to Course Usage Statistics and select Run.
