Courses may not appear in the My Courses module in Blackboard for a few reasons: The instructor has not yet published the course for student view (most common reason). The student has not yet successfully registered and paid for the course. There may be an issue with the student’s enrollment.
Students who are registered through San Jacinto College for an online course are not required to register for the course through Blackboard. Once a student has successfully registered and paid for a course, it will automatically be added to the student’s roster in Blackboard Learn 9.1.

A learning module is a container for organized collections of content. You can view learning modules and edit some settings in the app, but you create them in the web browser view of your course. You can require students to complete the content in a sequence or allow students to explore the content in any order.
You can rename, reorder, delete, hide, and add course menu links as needed. Deleting a content area link from the course menu is a quick way to delete an entire area as well as the items within it. However, the content area and all items within it are permanently deleted. This action is final. If you're unsure, hide the content area instead.
After your course menu is organized, you can upload files from your computer, edit existing content, and create new content and tool links. Using a wide variety of content types and tools provides a rich, interactive learning experience for your students.
When you add a course structure with content examples to your existing course, the content examples appear in addition to the existing content and are unavailable to students. You can edit, move, copy, or delete any of the content.
As an instructor, you want to be confident that your course is well-designed and functions as intended—before your students see it. Use student preview to review the course content and validate the course behaviors, such as those that control the availability of course content or require a particular interaction from the student to be triggered.
Content examples include pedagogical information, instructions, and course items. Even if you have experience working in Blackboard Learn, the pedagogical information and content examples can give you ideas about tools or new approaches.

Course structures are added to your course and don't replace your existing content. Include content examples when you add a structure to your course and discover new ways to present the content you've already developed.
Wherever you can add and format text in your course, you can add social media from other websites to your content. These social media elements that appear in a course are called "mashups." A mashup combines elements from two or more sources. For example, when you view a YouTube™ video as part of the course content, you're experiencing a mashup.
Wherever you want to add a social media element, access the editor. Select the Add Content icon and choose the type you want to search, such as YouTube Video.
An unlisted video doesn't appear in YouTube searches, and only users who know the link can access the video. However, complete privacy isn't guaranteed. The unlisted setting allows authors to publish and share videos easily without a need for specifically choosing who can view the video.
If your browser allows, you can also drag a folder of files. The files will upload individually. If the browser doesn't allow you to submit your assignment after you upload a folder, select Do not attach in the folder's row to remove it. You can drag the files individually and submit again.
Your instructor may allow you to submit an assignment more than once for a variety of reasons. For example, your instructor may provide comments on your first draft so that you can try to improve your work. You may realize you made an error after you've submitted your assignment.
