To delete an individual course, open the course's menu and select Delete. To delete multiple courses, select the check box next to the course folder and select Delete at the top of the results list. When a user is deleted from Blackboard Learn, the user is not automatically removed from the Content Collection.
An officially dropped class will automatically be removed from your Blackboard account within 24 hours of dropping the class. If it has been more than 24 hours since you dropped a class, then you should assume the system does not recognize the class as officially dropped. When you create a course, Blackboard Learn requires only two course properties: a course name and a course ID . However, several other course properties control important aspects of courses, such as when they're available, whether guest users are permitted, and where the course appears in the course catalog.
Active courses—courses with student submissions—should never be made into a child course of a merge course relationship.
Instead, it becomes a distinct course. The course no longer is associated with the merged set, and it contains no material from its former master course. The separated course retains both its content and enrollments from the moment it was separated out.
If Blackboard Learn doesn't recognize the file type, users can download the attached file and open it on their computers.
Course themes add a background image to the course display and change the color of the user interface, including the course menu, buttons, and controls. The theme can be changed again at any time. Applying a theme doesn't affect course content or a chosen course structure.
You may find it most useful to bulk delete course materials at the end of a course. You can select the materials you want to delete and keep the rest for use in the future. For example, you can delete students and grades from a course, but keep the content.

Grade Center columns that were manually created can easily be deleted because they are not tied to something specific in the course. Commonly, face-to-face courses have more manually created columns since students are physically turning work into the instructor.
1. Navigate to your Grade Center and click the gray down arrow that appears at the top of the column you wish to delete. Then click Delete Column at the bottom of the list. Note: You will not see Delete Column if the column was automatically added to the Grade Center.
What are the consequences of withdrawing (dropping) a class? While withdrawing from a course will preserve your GPA, excessive withdrawals (W‘s) will delay how long it takes you to complete your degree and may impact your financial aid. To remain in good academic standing, you must maintain a 2.0 GPA; otherwise you will be penalized.
