To use Collaborate to present a PowerPoint-supported presentation, you will first need the PowerPoint. Make sure that you save your completed PowerPoint in either PPT (older PowerPoint) or PPTX (newer PowerPoint) format before you enter your Collaborate session.
Students can play the recordings on most modern browsers without any additional plugins or extensions. Students can't download or save recordings.
Recording files aren't included in course archives or backups, though the file association is retained. The recording should appear within the data retention window when the course is restored on the same Blackboard Learn system. Contact your administrator for more specific information about data retention at your institution.
You can Zoom In, Zoom Out, see the slide in Actual Size, or select Best Fit. These actions are visible only to you. For example, others won't see you zoom the content in or out and you won't see what others zoom. Best Fit takes advantage of your screen real estate.
