Cons. Pay is laughable - bottom tier. Advisors get $11 an hour and supervisors only get $40k. Abysmal with the amount of work and detail expected. No room for growth - any “growth” is temporary interim positions. Even if a permanent spot opens up it takes months to actually fill it. Employees at all levels are constantly asked to take on ...

I really enjoyed this job. Overall a good place to work!!! I had a great coach. I think the pay could be better but I liked this job it was also work from home.
Equipment and servers don’t work right and supervisors don’t care. It isn’t worth the stress. The turn over rate here is really high for a reason. My training group of 20 all quit after a few months because of bad equipment and management. Not worth the little pay.
Training was way too fast and way too broad. You feel as if you have no idea what youre supposed to do when you begin answering calls. Horrible job structure. Supervisors were not willing to work with new hires one on one who felt they needed more help than the training provides.
This is a rewarding place to work but you must take it very seriously and adhere to their policies and procedures, which are not overly difficult. This is a FANTASTIC company!
You can be laid off at any time. Positions are temporary pay is low! You answer inbound calls from students about their student account. You try to be as nice as possible and offer them a solution to their problem. They either like your response or don’t! You give them the best correct answer you have access to!
I LOVE THIS JOB! GIve many opportunities and provide you the equipment you need. Everything seems confusing at first but once you get the practice and help and it very fun
it was a temporary job, the sups didn’t do much, everyone was confused on what to do. It was alot of transferring calls back and forth. They let go a majority of people without warning.
I was supporting 2 departments before I resigned, however with the increase in work, the compensation didn’t follow. Great opportunity for: job experience, independent work, remote work (no commute), and they supply all necessary equipment and training (3-4 weeks paid).
Great company. They love their employees and care about their well being. I would definitely go back in the summer to work since I’m in school from Fall to spring.
A great company, however too much micromanaging and very little pay for all the work that is required. If you don't like to be treated like a child, apply somewhere else!
Equipment failing, missing equipment and tedious systems. Incredibly low pay for what you're expected to do. Systems are dated need to be streamlined. You have to use multiple systems to accomplish one task. Would not recommend. You will always be in a temp position. If your equipment fails they don't pay you.
Really great company to work for. Pretty easy work if you ask me. Supervisors are easy to get along with and are quite nice. Kind of wish that there were more opportunities for permanent positions to start off in.
Blackboard is focusing on cost cutting and that has extended to its staffing. Additionally they focus on constantly adding new features instead of fixing existing ones so there is a mountain of technical debt.
You can learn a lot about a whole slew of technologies. Also the pay isn't bad.
