It's very easy to invite people from outside of the University of Sheffield to your session - in Blackboard Collaborate this is known as 'Guest access'. People joining via Guest Access do not need access to Blackboard, or a University of Sheffield computer account.
Collaborate offers the ability for any participant to join the session audio via a telephone. If your attendee (s) do not have access to a computer, or stable data connection, they can join in using the Anonymous dial in feature. Locate the Anonymous dial in details from the Session Settings menu.
Click on the meeting link that was sent to you. The link may be sent by email, text or calendar invite.
You may use any of the feedback buttons at any time during the meeting.
Entering the Collaborate Ultra Portal within your course site depends on where you created a link to it - either in 1) the Course Menu or 2) a Content Area.
