My Blackboard collects all key information that contribute to a user's success and presents it in one, easy to access location. Users are introduced to My Blackboard with a login overlay when the user first enters Blackboard Learn. This overlay identifies the tools available to the user in My Blackboard and shows the user how to find them.

Full text is the entire text of all the entries in the dictionary. It includes the entry names as well as spellings, definitions, etymologies, and quotations. A search on the full text of the dictionary is the broadest possible search. Headword confines your search to the main titles of entries.
The Historical Thesaurus is a taxonomic classification of the majority of senses and lemmas in OED Online. It can be thought of as a kind of semantic index to the contents of the OED.
The quick search will not recognize a misspelling. If you do not know how to spell a word, you can use a wildcard character in your search. A wildcard is a symbol which stands for any character.
