Course withdrawals may be completed online through myWilmU or with an official withdrawal form submitted at the Office of the Registrar or at any Wilmington University location. Students who choose to fax or mail withdrawal forms are responsible for contacting the appropriate office to confirm receipt of the request.

You can check to make sure an assignment submitted successfully. On the Course Content page, select the assignment link. A panel appears with the date and time you made the submission. Not graded appears until your instructor grades the assignment.

Former students who wish to return to Wilmington College need to complete a Readmission Application instead of the traditional freshman or transfer application for admission.
Financial aid is available to students returning to Wilmington College so long as Satisfactory Academic Progress has been made and the student submits the FAFSA. Any scholarships and awards the student previously received are null and void. A new financial aid award will be prepared with the current year’s FAFSA information.
All official college and high school transcripts must be received before a registration appointment will be scheduled. Class registration during the readmission process begins in the Office of Admission with a phone call to make a registration appointment.
The same WILpay account user name and password will be used as when the student was enrolled previously at Wilmington College.
The completion of 124 semester hours or credits of academic work is required for graduation. A minimum of 30 semester hour credits must be registered for and completed at Wilmington College in order to receive a Wilmington College degree.
Transfer students with at least 12 semester hours of credit should have a minimum college grade point average of 2.0 and be in good academic standing from the previous institution. Transfer students who do not have or will not have attempted 12 semester hours of credit will be accepted based on high school academics and ACT/SAT scores.
Action will be taken on applications when all material is received. Notification of admission decisions is sent immediately. An acceptance is always conditional upon maintaining the standard of academic achievement and conduct through completion of the last term at another institution.
All need-based financial aid is determined by the filing of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This system ensures consistency and fairness in awarding financial aid to students with genuine need regardless of race, color, creed, sex or national origin. The FAFSA may be completed at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Depending on the time of admission and the number of transferable credit hours, transfer students have the option of registering with their current class during the open registration period or schedule an individual registration appointment through the Office of Admission if class registration for their class year has already passed.
All degree-seeking students will be assigned an academic advisor. Students are typically assigned to faculty members in the students’ academic major of interest.
All students are classified as either “regular” or “special”. A regular student is one who has been admitted through the Office of Admission as a candidate for a degree. A special student is one who is not seeking a degree from Wilmington College, but taking classes for professional development or for a special interest.
