How do I use Examity in Blackboard?

Set up your exam in Blackboard and make sure your exam has been made “available.” Next, send your course ID # to your dedicated account manager. Your instructional designer will have to give you single sign-on access. Once you have access, select the name of your course in Blackboard. Next, click on the Examity link.

Does Examity share your screen?

Review exam reminders and select the “Agree and Launch Application” button. You will navigate to a new screen and a pop-up window will appear asking you to grant Examity access to your microphone. Please choose “Allow” in the pop-up window. You will see a pop-up window appear, prompting you to share your screen.

Is Examity a lockdown browser?

Examity is not compatible with third-party testing tools. Only use Lockdown Browser when the exam resides in the LMS. You can toggle Lockdown Browser on/off after an exam has been created, but we recommend that you do not adjust after the exam window has opened. This ensures all test-takers have the same experience.
