To submit a paper to a Turnitin assignment in Blackboard, the user must log in and upload a file to an existing assignment. Turnitin assignments cannot accept student submissions until the assignment start date and time has passed.
Select a course from the Course List. From the left-hand navigation, select Content under your course title. The Content page allows you to build content, create assessments or different tools to a module. To add a Turnitin assignment, select the Assessments drop-down menu, then select Turnitin Assignment.
There are two tools within Blackboard that can be used for the inline marking of students' documents. Blackboard has its own assignment tool, which allows you to set up and run an assignment in your course area. The University also uses software called Turnitin, which students also access via Blackboard.
From the main homepage, select the name of the class to view the class portfolio. Find the assignment inbox for the assignment you submitted to. To create a Turnitin assignment in Ultra, go into your module and click on the purple plus sign that appears when you hover between your content items. Select Content and Tools from the dropdown menu. Select Turnitin: Create assignment in Ultra from the list of options.
