Check that your browser is fully up-to-date. If you see the message that Application sharing is starting but the screen does not start sharing, stop and restart the application sharing. If you are using Chrome, make sure that the Desktop Sharing extension has been installed.Jan 29, 2021
Try clearing your browser cache, and reloading the session. Restart your computer. Try using Firefox instead of Chrome. Try dialling into the session using your phone.
Make sure that cookies from third parties are allowed. Third party cookies are allowed by default on all supported browsers. If you experience problems staying logged in to Blackboard, please check your browser settings to make sure you allow third party cookies.
Applications need to be open to share them. If the application isn't open, it won't appear as an option to share. Go to the Share Application/Screen button. Spacebar or select Share Application/Screen button to open an operating systems dialog window or Share Application/Screen panel in Collaborate.
Click on the Privacy Tab and locate Screen Sharing on the left. Check the checkbox to allow Google Chrome or Firefox to share your screen. More information about this issue can be found at this link. You may need to reload your Collaborate session for the change to take effect.Sep 13, 2020

In your Bb Collaborate session, navigate to the "Share Content" tab. Select on "Share Application/screen" in order to reveal the open applications on your computer (which can then be shared - you must have the application open for it to be available here.)Aug 27, 2021
