The problem occurs when you are using Safari on a Mac computer. You are able to login to myCommNet but when you click the link to Blackboard it requires an additional login. This is usually due to the browser not accepting cookies. You could workaround this by using a different browser such as Chrome.

Best practices for best experience Close all programs on your computer except for the browser you are using for your Collaborate session. Use a hard-wired (Ethernet) connection, if available. You can manually trigger ETL_REFRESHDATA within Blackboard Learn. Go to System Admin > System Reporting > Refresh Report Data. Select Refresh Activity Report Data to run the ETL_AA process, or Refresh Non Activity Report Data to run the ETL_NON_AA process.
There are problems with adding attachments to student email or uploading files in Blackboard with the internet browsers Edge, Internet Explorer, and Safari. User accounts are locked by multiple incorrect sign in attempts. You can set accounts to automatically unlock after the amount of time you set. From Site Manager select USERS & GROUPS. Select Settings.
