Blackboard is the course management system used campus-wide at NIU. Faculty and TAs use Blackboard to course materials, deliver tests and surveys, hold online discussions, and facilitate many other course-related functions. Both the Original Course View and the Ultra Course View are available. Students Getting Started.

Students who graduate will have access to Blackboard for 400 days after graduation.
An individual cannot be issued access to the university's computing resources (including Blackboard) until that individual's hiring paperwork has been received by Human Resource Services (HRS) and has been entered into the HRS system.
