Admission decisions for undergraduate applicants are typically made eight to 12 weeks after all application materials are received. A complete application includes the application for admission as well as official transcripts and standardized test scores.
Students must apply for admission and submit the Missouri State A+ Recognition Scholarship Application by June 1 for full consideration. A final high school transcript verifying A+ certification is also required to confirm eligibility.
If you have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, then you meet the selection index requirements and a test score is not needed for admission purposes. If you do not have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, please refer to the Selection Index section of this policy.

Discussion Boards, Journals, Blogs, Wikis, and Student Groups 1 Discussion Boards allow for threaded conversations via forums. 2 Journals can be used for private reflection or whole-class engagement. 3 Blogs allow students to create content to share with the class. 4 Wikis facilitate online collaboration around course content. 5 Groups allow students to use all of the above tools to collaborate on coursework and content.
Computer Services offers live, virtual training sessions as well as self-paced, video training on Blackboard Learn. Online "Ask the Experts" sessions are also available to faculty for virtual help, and the Help Desk Service Portal and online Knowledge Base offer extended support for Blackboard Learn.
Computer Services will automatically copy courses from the last year into the new Blackboard cloud environment. Fall 2017 and Summer 2017 courses have already been copied, Spring 2018 courses will be copied after the close of the semester. Once copied, you can move and copy content between courses as you normally do.
The new cloud Blackboard has some small interface changes. Some icons may look a bit different than they did before. Also, the color themes for Blackboard courses are no longer available. Some other customization options may be more limited. Functionally, there is very little difference in how the new system operates.
Currently, you can access the new Blackboard system, for Summer and Fall 2018 courses. After the end of the Spring semester, the existing Blackboard URL (BlackBoard.MissouriState.edu) will direct students and faculty to the new system. At this time, the prior system will be archived, so you won’t lose access to any prior course materials.

It depends upon the instructor. Many professors use Blackboard for testing. They may require the use of a proctor, or the use of security tool such as Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor. If the instructor requires a proctor, you will also have the option to take the test online using Respondus.
