Comment icons point out your instructor's comments throughout your paper. You can view all comments in the sidebar to the right of your document. Click on a comment to highlight its location in the document. If a rubric was used to grade your work, select the View Rubric icon to view details.
Select the Point Annotation icon in the toolbar to type comments in any place on the document. Comments are identified by a blue conversation bubble. Click and drag to highlight text, then choose to highlight or highlight and add a comment. Grade the submission from the inline grading sidebar.
Inline comments are comments made by an instructor that appear directly on top of your paper. These comments are usually brief.
Open a course in Blackboard and navigate to the Control Panel. In the Grade Center section, open the Full Grade Center. After the Grade Center opens, click Work Offline (far right) and select Download. The Download Grades screen will appear.
Inline Assignment Grading provides a way to grade assignments within your Blackboard course. Instead of needing to download student files for viewing, instructors are able to view these files “inline,” i.e. in the web browser, without the need for plug-ins or additional software.

1) Navigate to your Assignment under the Activities & Assessments tab. If your Instructor has released the grade, you should see your grade here. If you have feedback, there will be a clickable link labelled View. 2) Click on View to open a page with your grade and feedback.
From the Assignments page, locate your assignment, and click Unread in the Evaluation Status column. From the View Feedback page, you can view your submission feedback, rubric assessment, and grade. If your instructor added annotated feedback to the assignment, click View Inline Feedback.

Exempt grades You can exempt a grade from a student's record and the grade is ignored in all Grade Center calculations. The grade cell displays the Exempt icon.
