Projects & Papers & Research OH MY!!

Second Semester brings projects and papers in many classes. One of the main goals of the library is to help the students at BK become the best possible researchers, writers, and producers of information. This issue of the Library Newsletter will focus on tools that are provided for all BK students and teachers from the Library.

FIRST: Search for Information

While searching for information is easier than ever, making sure it is good information is a lot harder. Using the subscription databases ensures that your research is accurate and timely. Passwords for use at home are located in the Library Class on Blackboard.

SECOND: Organize Information

NoodleTools is a new application for students to use when it comes time to organize, write, edit, and produce a paper. NoodleTools syncs with BK Google Accounts, which means students do not need to remember passwords and can instantly create a Google doc that is linked to their sources. NoodleTools helps evaluate the validity of sources.

Logging in to Noodle Tools

Finding NoodleTools is easy! Use any of the 3 main access points to get started.

THIRD: Produce Papers & Projects

There are many tools that can help put together a quality project. This is a page of suggested tools that includes images, music, sounds, animators, digital storytelling, and much more. All should be free.

Also New in the Library - the College Center
