What information does Google share with Blackboard? Google sends a Google ID, basic profile information, and your Google email address to Blackboard so that you can sign in to your school's website. The basic profile information includes your first and last name, email, image, and locale, which is your region and language.
The course shell uses linked text within a content item that links to an external website or to another content item.#N#The following short videos walk you through how to link text in your content:
Benefits of Using the Course Shell. Since the shell provides an organizational structure for your course, you can focus your time on developing content. The course shell does not preclude or restrict your use of Blackboard tools or other University-supported tools.
There are two main ways to organize assignments in your course: By creating an Assignments link in the left Course menu. The left course menu with an Assignments link. By creating the assignments within each module/week/ topic folder . As mentioned earlier in this document, the course shell creates an Assignment link in the left Course menu.
Adding the course shell to an existing course will not overwrite existing content in the course. You can move existing materials into the new areas created when you imported the shell. The tutorials below demonstrate several different methods:

With the unusual surge of people online across the country, localized internet can be inconsistent or even non-existent due to the number of users. The Provost has requested that we be as flexible as possible with our students.
Class recordings may only be shared with the students and instructors in that class, any other use depends on the details of the information recorded and the details of the specific use. For other uses of your live class recordings please put in a request for consultation with the Teaching and Learning Commons.

Use the Testing Center to provide a window of availability for exam scheduling, which can free up the class period for additional learning activities.
Exams and questions can be imported, exported and stored in Content Collection for easy reuse. Once the exam is created, various settings may be configured, and the exam can be assigned a location within the course shell. Ensure the exam is released to students.
Create your exam. Refer to this Knowledge Base article or this Blackboard article for assistance in creating an exam.
Resolve issues in Grade Center. Incomplete or improperly submitted exams will be flagged as In Progress in the Grade Center. Instructors must choose to Clear Attempt or Submit Attempt to resolve the issue. Instructors or designated proctors may resolve issues in the Testing Center during live testing, or review issues later.
