Mix 1 cup white vinegar to four parts water in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture onto a microfiber cloth. Wipe down the board from the top to the bottom. Rinse the chalk dust off the cloth and reload it with the vinegar mixture as needed.
All you need to do is spray the windex over the part of chalkboard you drew over and wipe it off. After you've done that, you'll probably find that you still have some ghost images left behind. No! Use a dry eraser or dry cloth only. If you have a true chalkboard (slate), you should never use any liquid on it.
