If you have submitted an assignment and you don't see a grade, that means the instructor has probably not graded the assignment yet. The yellow exclamation point icon means that the assignment still needs grading.Dec 1, 2015
You can access assignments through the Blackboard course Control Panel. There you'll find the Grade Centre. You have two options – the 'Needs Marking' and 'Full Grade Centre' options. 'Needs marking' shows a contextual list of students' work that requires attention.Jun 27, 2018
For tests, after you select the title, the View Attempts page opens. Select the grade to review your submission. To view the grades for the course you're in, select the My Grades link on the course menu or on the Tools page. Your instructor controls which links appear on the course menu.
When you're ready to release grades to students, select the Post option in the column header. All grades you've assigned for this column are posted for students to see. If you want to post one at a time, click within that student's cell and select Post in the menu.

Override grades are grades you assign manually, for example, if you type in the grade pill in the gradebook. ... You can only override the final grade, not the grades for each attempt. An override grade takes precedence over all other grade entries, including attempts a student submits after you assign an override grade.
New Submission appears in cells when students have submitted work. Click anywhere in a cell to access the management functions or assign a grade. Select the cell or grade value to edit an existing grade or add a new entry. After you assign a value, click anywhere outside the grade area to save.
Exempt grades You can exempt a grade from a student's record and the grade is ignored in all Grade Center calculations. The grade cell displays the Exempt icon.
