Lately Cyberlink YouCam seems to be a common culprit. It seems that when users click the video button in Blackboard Collaborate the YouCam software also launches, and takes control of the webcam before Bb Collaborate activates. Any webcam software or utility can do this, but YouCam seems to be a little more persistent.

Sep 21, 2020 · My laptop camera used to work so when I was doing online lectures and now it isn't. When I hover over the "share camera" button I get what looks like a no entry sign. I've googled and made sure my camera permissions are set to "allow" which they are. My drivers are all up to date. Has anyone else had this?
