Check with your department to make sure that your hiring paperwork is submitted to HR and HR has entered your information in the CUNYfirst. Only then you can activate your CUNYfirst account.
Once your information is entered in CUNYfirst by HR, a ticket to the College IT is created to request a York email for you. CUNY CIS upgrades Blackboard annually at the end of December. The Fall 2020 Blackboard upgrade is scheduled to begin on Sunday, December 27th at 12:30 am and is expected to be completed by the close of business on Monday, December 28th.
