MSU students have Blackboard accounts created automatically once they are admitted to the university. Your Blackboard username is a lower case “m” followed by your MSU ID number (ex. m0123456), while your default password is the last 4 digits of your Social Security number followed by the 4 digits of your birth year (ex. 12341986).
