All users access Blackboard through the myMason portal. To access Blackboard, log in to mymason.gmu.edu and select the Courses tab. Faculty and students will gain access to their courses from this location.
All registered classes at Mason are assigned a Blackboard course shell on the Mason server. To locate your Blackboard courses, go to MyMason (https://mymason.gmu.edu), log in using your Mason ID and two-factor authentication, and click on the Courses tab.

Admitted undergraduates are classified as follows: Freshman, 0–29 credits completed. Sophomore, 30–59 credits completed. Junior, 60–89 credits completed.
You will be notified by email when your application is considered complete and goes on to the next step of review by our faculty. Most master's programs make decisions on a rolling basis and notify applicants in four to six weeks. Most doctorate programs review applicants and release decisions at one time.
The Bottom Line If you know you want to pursue a master's degree, especially within your major, accelerated master's programs can save you time and money. However, finishing faster should never mean giving up career exploration opportunities.
