WSU transitioned from Blackboard Learn to Canvas Fall Semester 2021.
Blackboard Learn is WSU's e-learning management system, and can be used to share readings and web links, assign homework and tests, provide feedback and set grades, as well as serve as a hub for communication and discussion. Access Blackboard using the website http://learn.wsu.edu.

Grades received in courses taken at another institution may not be used to replace grades in courses taken at WSU. If a student repeats a course at another institution, the WSU grade will be averaged into the GPA. The department offering a course can approve an exception to the limit of three attempts.

The Faculty Senate Steering Committee has approved a proposal initiated by the Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies to change the WOMEN ST course prefix. Effective beginning fall 2021, classes will be listed under the abbreviation WGSS.
