An Institutional Agreement is a formal agreement between GRCC and an accredited 4-year institution outlining the parameters for working together to facilitate the seamless transfer of students from GRCC to the 4-year partner. Institutional Agreements are agreed upon at the President/Provost level.
Overall, GRCC is a great school! I loved the atmosphere and the competency of the professors. Nothing was unattainably difficult, and because the school is smaller it is much easier to get in contact with your professors. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking for an intro to college education!

If you did not backup your course at the end of last term, you should do so NOW to preserve a copy of everything in your course. It is highly recommended that you back up your grades periodically throughout the term and at the entire course at the end of every term. It is also recommended that you also download and save a copy of your Grade Center.
All courses are automatically created in Blackboard at least four weeks before the semester start date. You will have access to your courses as soon as you are assigned as the instructor in PeopleSoft. Once you have access to the course, you can either build your course from scratch or copy content from another course.
If you want another instructor or student assistant to have Instructor, Course Builder, or Teaching Assistant Access to your course, you can add them yourself. All you need to know is their GRCC username and you can add them to your course through the Manage Users area.
In your welcome message you may want to include the start and end date/time of class, a brief course overview, instructor’s name and contact information, any textbook information, as well as how you intend to use Blackboard.

To set up a test in Blackboard, you first create it from scratch and then deploy it to a content area. To get started creating a test, navigate to the Course Management area of the left-hand navigation menu. Click the arrow to expand the Course Tools options and select "Tests, Surveys, and Pools." At the next menu, select "Tests" and then click "Build Test."
Announcements in Blackboard are communications from you to all of your students - use them to notify students of upcoming assignments, tests, or any other course information they need to know. The Announcements page will look something like this:
A Discussion Board is a tool for sharing thoughts and ideas between students and instructors in a course on an asynchronous basis. Asynchronous means that participants do not need to be online or in the same location at the same time. They also allow students time to thoughtfully consider their own responses carefully before sharing. Students can download the browser from this link, or from their Blackboard home page.
