Blackboard Access. Students can access the Blackboard Learn via: A web browser running on a computer. A web browser running on a mobile device. Or the Blackboard Learn Student App running on a mobile device. (functional limitation exist. Don't take tests ot quizzes from the mobile app.) Generally, a browser will work for all tools.
Access to Blackboard Learn at CSU is automatic. When you are added to the University’s PeopleSoft system and assigned to teach a course, you will automatically receive a course shell for each course on Blackboard Learn. Your PeopleSoft authentication credentials (same as for email, CampusNet) are used to login to Blackboard Learn.
Blackboard is the database where a student can see the past and present classes they were and are enrolled in. It gives the modules, assignments, grades, activities, discussion boards, groups, tests/quizzes, and a lot of other things for the students to navigate through easily.
