Grading

From the main menu or within a course, you can quickly review, provide feedback, and grade assignment submissions. You can view associated rubrics and attachments. When you're ready, post the grades for students to see.

Discussions

See current activity, participate in discussions, and edit some settings.

Announcements

Send announcements within individual courses to keep students motivated and on track.

How many roles can a user have in a course?

Each user can have only one role per course. These roles are course-specific, so a single user could be assigned the Instructor role in one course, but be assigned the Student role in another course.

What is a guest role?

The Guest role allows prospective students to explore a course without enrolling or participating. Instructors must make content areas within a course accessible to Guests or enroll a user and assign the Guest role. Note: Only Original courses can be accessed using the Guest role at this time. No.

Click the user's Options icon [1], then select the User Details link [2].

Open Interactions Report

Locate the user details sidebar. Depending on the page display, click the Interactions Report link or button.

View Interactions Report

The Student Interactions Report will show you information for the student in all enrolled courses. You can view the last time you interacted with the student [1], the current grade for the student [2], the final grade for the student [3], and if there are any submitted but ungraded assignments for the student [4].
