You can enroll users in three ways. These options are available in the Enroll User menu or the Batch Enroll option. Create a User: Create users and automatically enroll them. Find Users to Enroll: Enroll users who have an existing account in the system. Batch Enroll: Enroll multiple users all at once and assign them a course role.

Define the Enrollment Availability for this group of users. To enroll users but make the course unavailable to them, select No. To enroll users and make the course available to them immediately, select Yes. If you use the Ultra experience, you may override a user's course availability.
Blackboard Learn courses are created as "Unavailable" or "Private". "Unavailable/Private" means that an instructor has access to the course, but students will not be able to enter the course. Instructors have to make the course "available" or "open" to allow students access to the Blackboard Learn course.

Course Builder. The Course Builder role has access to most areas of the course. This role is appropriate for an assistant who shouldn't have access to student grades. Removing users from a course doesn't delete the users from Blackboard Learn. After you remove a user from a course, the user can no longer access course materials or user interactions. The user is no longer enrolled in the course. You can't automatically restore users to courses after you remove them.

You can change a user's role in a course at any time. For example, if an instructor needs an additional assistant during the term, you can change a user's role from Student to Teaching Assistant for that course.
If you have students who need to access a course outside of the normal term, you can override their enrollments. They'll have access to the course until the date you set.
Enrollment batch files must contain a course ID and username for every record. You can also include a course role and the user's system availability and course availability status.
If you include the optional attributes in the enrollment batch file, you must use the following required valid values:

Select Filter by to sort the table based on availability status for the tool and for the role users have in a course. Filtering makes it easier to see which tools are available and visible, and change settings based on those criteria.
