The Secret Service Ricks reveal that Candidate Morty survived and will become President of the Citadel before throwing Campaign Manager Morty into space. Meanwhile, Rick D. Sanchez III takes his place with the Shadow Council of Ricks and President Morty, who proceeds to kill every member of the council who opposes him.
In the episode, it was revealed that he was controlling his Rick and it was possibly his idea to capture Mortys in order to hide from the Citadel of Ricks. Unlike other Mortys, President Morty speaks in a serious, monotone voice, and lacks a stutter in his speech.
In the commentary for "Tales From the Citadel", it's revealed that the other side of The Wishing Portal was a universe/planet that complained to a Rick once about not leaving a tip. In retaliation, the Citadel decided to dump all their garbage onto that planet. Slick Morty survived by landing on a heap of garbage.
The team member Morty is tackled to the grounds and thrown in prison. At the prison we learn that Politician Morty had won the election, making him President Morty. The team member Morty tries to warn the Rick guards of who President Morty really is but before he can, he's sucked into space through a vacuum hole.

Rick D. Sanchez IIISimple Rick was a Rick that appears in the episode The Ricklantis Mixup. It is likely he was kidnapped or forced into his servitude by Rick D. Sanchez III prior to the events of The Ricklantis Mixup.
He first appeared in the Season 3 premiere episode, "The Rickshank Rickdemption", and can be spotted crawling on the walls of the Citadel. It is unknown what happened to him following the fall of the Galactic Federation and near destruction of The Citadel. He most likely has affiliations with lizard morty.

Rick is such a uniquely egotistical character. Normally, he serves no master and refuses to let himself become too tied down by personal connections. An entire society comprised of selfish super-geniuses seems almost destined to fail. The Factory Worker Rick storyline spoke to that dilemma especially well. Every society needs people to work the mundane, thankless jobs. When you're one super-genius among thousands, you don't always get the exciting, fulfilling life you want. Which, naturally, leads you to murder the one Rick in the whole world who seems genuinely happy with his lot in life.

If you all remember Episode 1 of this season, Rick mentions to the family that there's suicide capsules in each of their teeth. Apart from this being a one-off joke in the episode, it's later brought back when one of the decoy ricks presumably uses it to try and kill the other decoy rick, in the following episode.

Morty Smith has an obvious crush on Jessica, but she doesn't acknowledge Morty frequently. While they aren't friends per se, Jessica is genuinely nice to Morty and seems not to mind his company, even going with him to the school dance and grinding with him in "Big Trouble In Little Sanchez". So far, she has only spoken to him directly three times. In the Pilot, when Rick Sanchez and Morty escape from Intergalactic Customs, the duo crash into her table. Morty and she have a brief exchange before Rick rips him away. In " M. Night Shaym-Aliens! ", a simulated, holographic projection of Jessica attempts to seduce Morty in exchange for the recipe for concentrated dark matter. In "Big Trouble In Little Sanchez", Jessica questions Morty on his relation to the now younger Rick, and the two are later seen slow dancing together at the school dance. Jessica also has a few minor mentions in "Mortynight Run", once as a [foot related] thought read from Morty's mind, and a second time as a phase of a shape shifting flower in the musical number "Goodbye Moonmen" .
Jessica and Brad are assumed to be dating throughout most of the series; however, Jessica is blatantly unhappy in this relationship. This illustrates a level of depth to her character even early on in the story. They fight consistently throughout the series and Jessica was last seen romantically with Morty. It can be assumed that Brad and Jessica have had a falling out by this point; however, no information is given. It is revealed in " Rest and Ricklaxation " that they have broken up.
Jessica has had a very few brief connections with Rick over the course of the series so far. In " Ricksy Business ", she was intrigued by Rick's inventions. In " Big Trouble In Little Sanchez ", much like all the other students, was amazed at how cool of a student Rick had become as " Tiny Rick ."
Jessica likes her friend because she thinks she has good advice and she looks at the girl as someone from whom she can seek guidance. In reality, Jessica doesn't care about being popular: she only acts the way she does because her friend encourages her to do so.
