Adaptive Release, Blackboard

The rules may be related to availability, date and time, individual usernames, membership in course groups, review status of another item in the course, and Grade Center items such as scores, attempts, and calculated columns.

Adaptive Release is a feature in Blackboard that allows instructors to release content to students based on specific criteria.
Adaptive Release allows you to upload content to your Blackboard course, but select the times, specific users or specific criteria for users to be able to see the content.
Choose the content you wish to Adaptive Release. Click on the drop down menu and select Adaptive Release.
To add more than one Adaptive Release setting (criteria) to an item, use the ‘Adaptive Release: Advanced’ option in the contextual menu. Adding multiple criteria will narrow a user’s ability to view a content item. The item will display to users only if all of the criteria are met.
Setting adaptive release criteria in Blackboard allows the instructor to control the availability of a test, assignment, or other content to a student or a group of students based on criteria, such as by member, group, or grade information.
Section 1 allows you to restrict the date along with using other release criteria. For example, one user may need to see the exam for only a particular date range.
