All users can sign on to Blackboard using their myUTSA ID (abc123). Users need to activate their myUTSA id to access Blackboard. For issues with myUTSA ID password or activation, please contact Tech Cafe.
Blackboard Learn is UTSA's Learning Management system. It allows you to post your course materials online, engage students, assess outcomes, and promote collaboration.
Note: You can find your Banner ID on the front of your myUTSA ID card; it consists of several numbers preceded by an @ symbol. Provide a cellphone number or non-UTSA email address for Tech Café to send you a reset code and click “Submit.” Using a cellphone number to receive your reset code?

abc123Your myUTSA ID (abc123) is your primary student ID at UTSA. You'll need it to log into almost everything here including ASAP.
You may obtain the UTSACard at either the Main Campus office (MS 1.01. 52) or the Downtown Campus office (FS 2.418). Call (210) 458-7275 for office hours. A valid photo ID (driver's license, military ID, state issued ID, or current passport) is required to obtain the UTSACard.

Beginning September 30, 2020, DUO two-factor authentication will be required to access student financial information in ASAP. This requirement is part of a continued effort to protect student data across the UT System.
When you log into ASAP, to access information in the “Financial Aid” or “Fiscal Services” tab, you will be asked to re-authenticate who you are using DUO.

After applying to UTSA, you should receive an email from [email protected] with a link and instructions to activate your myUTSA ID account. Once activated, you will use your myUTSA ID and passphrase to log into just about everything here, including your student portal called “ASAP” (pronounced “a-sap”).
ASAP is your student portal that allows you to access most of your student information and academic records at UTSA.
