Choosing Between Majors

I’m debating on a BA in psychology vs a BA in economics. I am better at psych than econ but I have been told an econ degree would generally be more useful than a psych degree in the workforce, is that true? I don’t really have a specific career I want to pursue at the moment so that’s also why I am having trouble making a decision.

I am looking at possibly applying for grad schools but I am wondering if I even stand a chance GPA wise. I attended a university right out of high school for two years and left with a 1.97 GPA, I was dealing with a health issue that affected me physically but mostly mentally. Then I went to a community college for a year and left with a 2.75.
