Extended Maintenance OUTAGE – Tuesday, Feb.5, 12am-8am (early morning)

An extended maintenance window has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 5, from 12-8am (early morning). This maintenance window, scheduled to last up to eight hours, will be used to apply an update that fixes an issue that has negatively impacted a number of users. During this time, eLearning will be UNAVAILABLE.

Possible Service Interruption – Feb 1, 1-5am

Blackboard will perform datacenter maintenance early Friday morning, February 1, from 1-5am . While we anticipate no interruption in eLearning service, we cannot entirely rule out brief period of intermittent connectivity. We recommend against taking online exams during this four-hour maintenance window.

eLearning Training & Support Information – Spring 2019

As we head into the Spring 2019 semester, we would like to remind everyone of ways to receive training and support on eLearning and other educational technology tools.

eLearning Upgrade Outage Scheduled – Dec.29, 10pm – Dec.30 (11am)

An eLearning outage has been scheduled for Saturday, Dec.29 (10pm) until Sunday, Dec.30 (11am). This 13hr window will be used to upgrade eLearning. During this time, eLearning will not be available . If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

Merge Course Tool now available

The Merge Course Tool is now available in eLearning, and faculty can use it to merge S19 courses. We apologize for the issues experienced last week. Thank you for your patience as we worked to address the issues as quickly as possible. (Any courses that are officially cross-listed in Orion have been automatically merged for faculty.)

The Merge Course Tool is available in eLearning, and faculty can now use the tool to merge U18 courses. (Any courses that are officially cross-listed in Orion have been automatically merged for faculty.)

Recent Safari update causes problems when uploading files

Safari released an update for its web browser on March 29th that causes problems for students and faculty when attempting to upload files. Students are unable to upload files to assignments. Faculty are unable to upload files into course content areas.

Upcoming March 3rd Maintenance Impacting Publisher Tools

This weekend from 11pm March 2 nd until 3pm March 3 rd, Blackboard will replace hardware at on one of its data centers. eLearning users may experience service interruptions to publisher tools ( Partner Cloud) during this time. These publisher tools include Cengage Learning, Macmillan Higher Education, McGraw-Hill, Pearson, and Wiley.

Extended Maintenance OUTAGE – Feb.27 (Tue), 2-6am

A four-hour extended maintenance outage has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, from 2-6am (early morning) to add hardware and resources in order to improve eLearning performance. During this time, eLearning will be UNAVAILABLE. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

Possible Service Interruption – Friday, Feb.16 (1-5AM CST)

On Friday, February 16, Blackboard will perform a firmware upgrade. This maintenance will take place between 1am-5am CST (early morning) . Blackboard anticipates no interruption in service as a result of this work; however, they cannot entirely rule out brief periods of intermittent connectivity.
