Blackboard is a course management system used campus-wide at NIU. Faculty and TAs may post course materials, deliver tests and surveys, hold online discussions, and facilitate many other course-related functions. As a TA, your responsibilities in Blackboard will be determined by the faculty member you work with.
The Control Panel can be found below the Course Menu when you are in a Blackboard course. Here, you can change settings for the course, adjust the look and feel of the course, access the Grade Center, and communicate with students. Students do not see the Control Panel.

You may notice a gray box next to the content area. This means that the content is not visible to students.
