Blackboard is used for distance, blended, face-to-face and ad-hoc courses. Blackboard facilitates online teaching and learning, content management and distribution, communication and collaboration.
On the First Day of Class. To access your online class the first day of the semester: 1. Go to Canvas Course Login. 2. Username: lastname_firstinitial+last 5 numbers of UT ID and password you created at myUTPB.edu. 3. Once you log on, the first day of class you will see your course (s) listed under Course> All Courses.
Canvas is a learning management system (LMS) for all courses at UT Permian Basin. Canvas creates an online presence for each course section in a given academic semester.
