Account Management Your University of Maine System (UMS) user account is used to access services such as the UMaine Portal, MaineStreet, BlackBoard, and email. Tools to activate your account, recover a lost password, and other help can be found on the UMS User Account Management Functions site.
Student ID is also known as your MaineStreet ID, or sometimes referred to as Emplid. Your Student ID is located in the top right corner of your Student Center.
Accessing your UMaine Accounts The UMaine portal at http://my.umaine.edu is the quickest way to access all your UMaine accounts at once. It also displays campus announcements and alerts, quick links.
To apply for one, go to the MaineCard Service Center and fill out the UMaineOnline Student MaineCard Application under Forms and Documents. Email a color photograph and mail this application with a notarized copy of your photo ID for identification verification to MaineCard Services to receive your MaineCard.
