Dec 18, 2020 · Once you download your Grade Center, you can work on your Blackboard Grade Center on your computer and upload the edited spreadsheet back into Blackboard to allow students to see their current grades. We recommend that you first download your Grade Center to ensure that the data matches when you re-upload the edited grades.
First, manually enter the letter grade into the Grade Submission column—the grade you can see in your Weighted Total or Total column. Do that by double-clicking in each square and typing the letter. When all letter grades have been entered into the Grade Submission column, click on the Grade Submission link in your Course Tools (left bottom menu)
First, on Setup > Apps, search for Google Classroom, then click Add. This is just a one-time setup. Then for each assignment, on Assignment screen click Attach (below the Directions) and select Google Classroom. Select which Google class and assignment to import into your Jupiter assignment.
Open a course in Blackboard and navigate to the Control Panel. In the Grade Center section, open the Full Grade Center. After the Grade Center opens, click Work Offline (far right) and select Download. The Download Grades screen will appear.

The Blackboard Instructor app helps you easily identify courses where you need to grade student submissions. Instructors and graders can review, annotate, grade, and publish the grades to students.
The first block of information in the course overview is the Needs Attention section. This section shows assignments with submissions ready to grade or post. You can tap an item to start grading.
Students don't see their grades until you post them. You can post grades as you go or all at once when you've finished grading. Each time you add a grade, feedback, or inline annotation, your changes are securely synced to Blackboard Learn and all your devices.
Instructors can grade assignments in the Blackboard Instructor app, and can grade all other items in a web browser view of a course. Blackboard app for students on the Grades page: Students tap a graded item to see their attempts, scores, and feedback depending on the item type.
To synchronize external data to Grade Center data, unique identifiers are necessary for each student and for each column in the Grade Center. The unique identifier used for each student is the student’s user name. The unique identifier for each column is a column ID number. This is the 6 digit code beside the column name. Column ID numbers are generated by the system and should not be changed or deleted. Columns that do not have column ID numbers in an uploaded file will create new columns in the Grade Center.
When uploading data to the Grade Center, Blackboard recommends that you use tab-delimited files. When using tab-delimited files, you don’t have to use quote characters and you can open the files directly in Microsoft® Excel®.

The Blackboard app enforces these rounding rules that may cause grades to display differently from than the Blackboard Learn desktop browser experience. Check your grade on a web browser to view all available decimals.
Overall grades are not available on the Grades page for Ultra courses by default. Your instructor needs to set up the overall grade in order for it to show in the app. However, you can tap an Ultra course to view your graded work.
Tests are (in most cases) assessed by Blackboard, and grades are automatically recorded in the Grade Center. If a Test or Assignment allows for multiple attempts, the instructor may choose which attempt to use.

The Grade Center has added the ability to drop or exempt a grade from total calculations.
Grades Journey enables institutions to automate the exchange of assignment and grade data between their Student Information Systems (SIS) and Blackboard Learn. With Grades Journey, the SIS can optionally define columns in the Grade Center, graders can post the gradebook for retrieval, and the SIS can retrieve submitted grades. Administrators can configure Grades Journey to control how graders and instructors use Grades Journey.
If an instructor or teaching assistant notices an error after they've extracted the grade information, they may request that you unlock the Grade Center for that course. In these cases, you can unlock the Grade Center for a user after an extract occurs.
In the Ultra Course View, students and instructors can access course grades on the navigation bar. They select the paper and pencil icon to access all the coursework that's specific to the course they're in. In the Original Course View, instructors access the Grade Center from the Control Panel.
Grading schemas convert raw numeric scores, such as 88 points out of 100, to specific grade displays, such as B+ or Pass. When students view their grades, they see the grade display that corresponds to their numeric scores. You can create any number of grading schemas for instructors to use in courses. Instructors can select a schema to use as a default and then modify the display values and calculations for an individual course.
For the Original Course View only, you can allow students to access tests and surveys only on computers you specify. Students must use computers with IP addresses in the allowed range.
You can change the default grade settings whenever you want. These changes apply to new courses created after the change. Existing courses don't update their settings when you change the default settings.
