UH. Blackboard (Bb Learn) BAC Monitor. Bb Learn unavailable Fridays, 2 am - 6 am. Bb Learn weekly maintenance window is now Friday mornings from 2am - 6am. During these 4 hours you will not be able to log into Bb Learn. We apologize for the inconvenience. Log in at AccessUH to access Blackboard and many other UH systems with a single log in.
Using Blackboard for Instructional Continuity. In the event of class disruption due to an emergency situation, all faculty may use a Blackboard course shell to continue student communication and classroom management.
A blank course shell has been created for every course and section of lecture and seminar courses. Once the administration has notified the campus of a closure, faculty who have not used Blackboard in the past will be able to log on to their blank shell in two ways:
Blackboard Learn is an application for online teaching, learning, community building, and knowledge sharing (termed "LMS", or Learning Management System). Hosting a large variety of tools and features, Blackboard Learn is an invaluable tool for teachers and students alike.
Beginning with the Spring 2019 semester, UNI's Blackboard Learn system was upgraded to use Ultra Base Navigation. Ultra Base Navigation did not affect your courses. It only affected the portal and base navigation menu. Learn more on our Blackboard Learn Ultra Base Navigation page
