The Concurrent Enrollment Program, offered by UC San Diego Extension, lets you take courses without formal admission to UC San Diego. This is a great way to explore fields of study while earning transferable units. Both undergraduate and graduate courses are offered.Nov 10, 2021
University Extension is the continuing education branch of UC campuses, pproviding innovative learning programs to adult learners in California, across the U.S. and throughout the world. University re-entry allows non-graduated UC students to resume a path to a four-year degree.
Many UC San Diego Extension courses can be transferred to UC San Diego or other colleges or universities. The transfer of credit is determined solely by the receiving institution. You should discuss how your individual courses will transfer with the registrar's office at the receiving institution before you enroll.
Classes are free because San Diego Continuing Education is part of the California system of higher education. Funding also comes through business and industry partnerships.
With the online University and Professional Studies (UPS) program students or professionals may take 1, 2, or 3 UC San Diego main campus or UC San Diego Extension courses virtually. Study with American students or professionals at the Bachelor's or Master's level, across nearly all departments at UC San Diego. .
UC San Diego has partnered with edX to offer online courses and programs, increasing access to high-quality education.
